Skin Samona’s title ambitions are longer in their hands following their 12-8 loss to Hot Pool at Rock Catalina Ntinda on Tuesday.

They came in needing to win all their matches but instead went back with a loss. This really hands the advantage to Capital Night that still has three matches to play.

Hot Pool on the other hand can still hold out hope but the fact that Capital has two games in hand doesn’t give them leverage.

“Honestly, I don’t think we can win it, unless Capital Night loses at least one of their remaining games and may be a draw,” Hot Pool’s Humphrey Nsubuga said.

Nsubuga is aware of the quality that Capital Night has and if you juxtaposed that against their last three opponents it’s a tough peel to swallow for those that are holding out hope.

“The most important thing is securing the second position and also waiting to see if any miracle can happen since our last game is with Capital Night,” he added.

Hot Pool can only  get a lifeline if Ronz and Maga can do something, then maybe their match against Capital Night will mean something on December 15.

Hot Pool women were able to exert revenge on Skin Samona with an 8-4 win to settle the score from the first leg.
