Nakawa Member of Parliament Michael Kabaziguruka has been admitted to hospital after he was involved in another car accident.
Mr Kabaziguruka told this reporter on Sunday that he was in hospital receiving treatment after his car collided with another MP’s car. The other MP is said to be in critical condition.
The accident happened at Matugga along Bombo road.
“I’m in a clinic (St Phillip Hospital) receiving treatment. The doctors have stopped the bleeding but I‘m unable to move. I’m also experiencing chest pain. I’m told the other car is also for an MP,” he said on phone.
However, preparations are underway to transfer the MP to Kampala Hospital Kololo.
In July the MP sustained a double fracture on one of his legs when the ambulance van he was driving collided with another truck near the Uganda Manufacturers Association Showground in Lugogo, Kampala.
He was bedridden for several months.
