Massive landslides wreak havoc in Manafwa

Massive landslides in Manafwa District, eastern Uganda, ripped apart water supply systems, disrupting the distribution in several areas.

The National Water and Sewerage Cooperation (NWSC) shared pictures of broken pipes and massive gullies, caused by the landslides which according to the cooperation, occurred on Sunday night.

The Uganda Media Centre (UMC) confirmed the landslides, but did not indicate if there were any casualties.
