Every Ugandan club that has travelled to Tunisia before has lost but KCCA FC must pick at least a point off Club Africain to qualify for the Caf Confederation Cup quarterfinals, reports JOHN VIANNEY NSIMBE.
KCCA FC manager Mike Mutebi was ecstatic about the display of his team against FUS Rabat on Sunday, which produced a 3-1 win. Goals by Geoffrey Sserunkuma,Sadam Juma and Isaac Muleme completed the job.
However, nothing delighted Mutebi more than the midfield trident of Jackson Nunda, Sadam Juma and Muzamir Mutyaba, whose dictation of play engineered the success.
KCCA need just one point from Tunisia to book a quarterfinal berth. However, their away record has been dreadful- losing five away games thus far. A draw will see both KCCA and Club Africain progress ahead of Rabat and Rivers. However, KCCA can still lose and advance if Rivers and Rabat draw.
KCCA have won all their three group games at home, scoring seven and conceding three goals. They have, however, conceded five and only scored one on the road.
KCCA have been a pack of nerves away but Juma said the solution is to believe in themselves.
