Emily Ssubira, a beautician, recommends natural remedies that will help you grow thicker hair.

Eggs
Regular protein treatment is essential to enjoy stronger and thicker hair. For a protein hair treatment, the best ingredient is eggs. “Depending on the length of your hair, take about two eggs and beat them properly.
Apply the egg on wet hair and allow it to sit for about 30 minutes. Wash the hair with lukewarm water and shampoo. Use this protein treatment once or twice a week to achieve better results.”

Olive oil
Olive oil contains omega 3 fatty acids and other nutrients that are essential for overall health, including hair health. When applied directly to the scalp and hair, olive oil helps promote thicker hair and softens the hair, relieving a dry scalp.

Ssubira says, “Massage your hair and scalp with olive oil and leave it on for about 45 minutes. Rinse it out thoroughly and wash your hair using shampoo. You can also apply the oil overnight and then shampoo your hair the next morning.”

Mix olive oil with some honey alternatively and apply the mixture on your hair. Leave it on for about an hour and then wash your hair. Use either of these alternatives at least twice a week for better results.

Avocado
Avocado can also be used to get thicker hair as it moisturises and adds body to your hair. The vitamin E in this fruit contributes to the overall health of the hair shaft.

“Mix mashed avocado, a banana and one tablespoon of olive oil. Massage it on your scalp and leave the mixture on your hair for about 30 minutes or in the night so that the nutrients are absorbed by the scalp. Finally, rinse it out and shampoo your hair,” she says.
