Flying Start for She Pearls at Netball World Cup

The She Pearls started on a good note on day two at the International Netball world Youth Cup with an Impressive 81-22 Victory over Malaysia on Sunday at Ditshupo Hall, with Irene Eyaru scoring 40 goals and Sharifa Nalukuma scoring 20 goals destroying the Asian Champions.

It is the first time the International Netball federation has held an international event on the African continent. The Netball youth Cup is the pinnacle of netball competition for emerging players who are Under 21 years of age and the International netball federation has held an U21 international competition every four years since 1988.

The tournament will feature for 9 days of netball, 70 games in total and 20 countries competing from across the five INF regions; four countries are representing Africa, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Uganda and Host Botswana.
