Egyptian match officials will handle the 2019 AFCON qualifier between Uganda and Lesotho slated for October 13, at Mandela National stadium, Namboole.

Amin Mohamed Omar will take charge of the game as centre referee. He will be assisted by compatriots Samir Gamal Saad and Mahmoud El Regal as the first and second assistant referees respectively.

Three days later, Lesotho will host Cranes in the return leg to played in Maseru and match officials from Comoros will handle that match.

They include Ali Mohammed Adelaid (centre referee) and Soulaimane Amaldine and Said Omar Chebli as the first and second assistants.

Cranes is currently top of Group L (four points) which consists of Tanzania, Lesotho and Cape Verde. Lesotho and Tanzania have two points each, while Cape Verde is bottom with one point.

The Uganda versus Lesotho encounters will be another test for Sebastien Desabre  who is still looking for his second victory as the national team coach since his unveiling last year.

Desabre has been in charge of ten games, win only one against São Tomé and Príncipe (3-1) in a friendly. He has picked up five draws and four defeats.
