Despite their recent poor form, Kirinya Jinja SS’ head coach Charles Ayiekho has said that his team has the mental  capacity to stop SC Villa’s winning run in the Azam Uganda Premier League.

Ayiekho, who will be hoping that his team bounces back from Wednesday’s 2-1  away loss at KCCA FC in Lugogo  will rely on his youthful  trio of Musa Esenu , Faizal Muwawu and Isaac Ntege to attack SC Villa.

“I have seen some videos on how they play and I now know how to stop them. My strikers need to be a little sharper, but I know that my home advantage will be crucial for this tie. I want to be the first team to defeat SC Villa this season,” said Ayiekho.

Kirinya defeated SC Villa 1-0 at Bugembe Stadium last season and Ayiekho feels his team can repeat the feat if they stick to the same principal like last season.

Kirinya only have one win in their last five league games this season.
