For the second year running, excelling individuals and teams from the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) will be awarded.
This follows yet another successful campaign that saw KCCA retain the league title to move to the same level with record league winners SC Villa who have 16 championships.
On Wednesday July 5, the secretariat revealed the categories for the 2016/17 awards ahead of the much anticipated launch of the 2017/18 AUPL season.
Captains and coaches went through a process of selecting nominees for the forthcoming AUPL Awards due on Friday July 7, 2017.
Over 17 categories of people will be rewarded at the venue and on a date yet to be communicated.

The CEO also revealed that a number of topflight coaches and captains among others were involved in the process of selecting nominees of various categories to be revealed at the launch on Friday.
